Do 17x7 front / 18x8 rear Intro Vista wheels fit a 1965 Pontiac GTO?

On this owner's 1965 Pontiac GTO (First generation), that is the setup on the car: 17x7 front / 18x8 rear Intro Vista wheels, as recorded in the original post. The post records the suspension as Hotchkis / SPC / BMR suspension (per signature). This is one owner's actual setup, owner-reported from PT Goat's post on Pro-Touring — it documents what this owner runs, not a guarantee that the same setup will fit or clear on your car.

From PT Goat's Pro-Touring wheel-thread post 754912 (page 6), text read verbatim Nov 5, 2026: 'Intro Vista 17x7 (4.75") and 18x8 (5") on 225/50 and 255/45 BFG KDW redlines' (backspacing 4.75in front / 5in rear; tire diameters completed from his stated wheel diameters). Year, model and suspension proven from his own signature: '1965 Pontiac GTO Spotts 421 Tripower | TKO600 | 3.90s | Vintage AC | Baers | Hotchkis/SPC/BMR Suspension | Intro Vistas | BFG KDW Redlines'. All three of the post's attachments (43207/43208/43209) were fetched and viewed by me: 43207 is a full-car side profile of the cream 1965 GTO on polished Intro Vista wheels with redline tires (front fender still black in the photo), 43208 is a rear-wheel close-up on the car, 43209 is the loose wheel set off the car.
